Built in the eleventh century AD by King Someshwar Chhahamana and his wife Queen Suhavadevi of the Sakhambari Dynasty, it is dedicated to Lord Shiva. In the summers, Prithviraj Chauhan would come to the temple a lot to get away from the scorching heat of Rajasthan. The complex is divided in two by the waterfall’s deep gorge. In this, as the structure rises, a square plan is rotated around the centre and stopped at regular intervals.
